We are so grateful to Papa Bergen for catalyzing such a special ceremony of love, and forever being such a deep part of our union and the weaving together of our souls.
We are deeply saddened that our future children will not have the great joy of meeting their Grandfather and experiencing his golden heart and his generosity of flowing wisdom. Still, his memory and essence live on through all of us and we are honored to serve his legacy.

A Poetic Tribute to a Blossoming Love

Who kisses melting snowflakes
Watered not by the cold
And not by Eyes who imagine her in Spring”
Beginning where her petals will blossom
Ending on her thorns
I pull away as she sways”
My angry pointer spills a drop of me
As a not yet yearned for offering upon her earth
Red like the petals I dreamed of...”
I wonder how I could ever hurt any part of her
Even her thorns”
And blessed are we
That one of her many gifts is forgiveness”
And to the sky from whence we fell
And to our ancestors who smile upon us this and every day”
To not one day but today
Know I am worthy of the Seeds
Of our divinity”
For she smiles and calls for water now
Not the blood of a boy
But the Love of a man”
Ancient yet pure
Flowing in effortless abundance and joy”
But purity does not come to the grasping hand
